The service was very poor. Asked for an extra salsa and salad dressing and received neither. The menu is very limited. My husband has a seafood stew. The seafood was so broken up that you could not figure out what you were eating.

The hotel clerk suggested this restaurant, and said that "despite the name, it is a family restaurant with good food and good prices." He was absolutely right about everything. It used to be a brewery, but it is now a restaurant. They serve alcoholic beverages and brew their own beer for restaurant patrons only. There were big families with children present, friends having a good time, old people, young people. There is a glowing, warm stone fireplace that greets you at the entrance, with comfy arm chairs surrounding it. We did not have to wait, since the seating capacity is lodge-style and probably accommodates over 200 people. And, although a little noisy for older ears, the food is well worth putting up with it for awhile. We ordered their house 100% angus steak burger, and their hand-cut fries and homemade slaw. Everything on their menu is made from scratch, not frozen, and was delicious. Our plate portions were so large, we actually had it for lunch the next day. We definitely recommend this restaurant, and will be back again next year.
